The Opportunity
The role of a Small Plant Mechanic is essential to our team. You'll be taking care of the smaller machines that play a big part in our work. It's all about making sure they're safe, cost-effective, and ready to tackle the tasks we have.
Your focus will be on keeping our equipment in good shape. This means regular maintenance, fixing things up when needed, and talking with the rest of the crew to make sure we're all coordinated. We want to get the job done well and without delays, and your work will help with that by reducing downtime.

Your role will include:
- Work on brush cutters, push mowers, chain saws, blowers, atom edgers, hedgers
- Chemical Spray pack servicing
- Electrical diagnosis and hydraulic diagnostics
- Some onsite/mobile servicing required
We love a positive, can-do attitude! Along with this, you will need:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate required.
- Experience with repair of equipment, vehicles, equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
- Ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Current and valid manual driver’s licence
- Welding and Fabrications experience advantageous (not essential)
- Diesel engine experience advantageous (but not essential)
