An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our Team as a Workshop Manager.
The role is responsible for the servicing and maintenance of a large fleet of both American and European prime movers and trailers in accordance with various Accreditation Schemes.
The Company prides itself on Safety and in doing so this role has a focus on technological advances. For example, MT Data, Internal and external Prime Mover Cameras and a fleet of (HPV) High Productivity Vehicles. .
The role also entails leading and mentoring a team of approximately 9 Employees
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A relevant trade qualification
- A HC, MC and Forklift license would be advantageous
- High Level of Technical ability and knowledge
- Be able to diagnose and rectify mechanical problems efficiently and cost effectively
- Extensive knowledge & experience in engine & driveline maintenance
- Experience working with American and European Drive Train
- Previous experience with MTData, Cameras and Workshop Maintenance Programs, or a passion to learn & manage such technology
- Ability to build positive relationships with Employees, Suppliers and Customers
- Satisfactory Computer skills including the use of Microsoft programs and Fleet Software.
