Heading up a crew of up to 30 trades you'll be responsible for daily running on the workshop, mobile plant maintenance, repairs and rebuilds. Mon-Fri.

• Long term work with a reputable mining contractor/ project delivery team.
• Leading a crew of up to 30 trades working on underground mining machinery.
• 5:2 (Monday - Friday) roster + regular OT available.

The role
As the Workshop Supervisor, you'll be reporting directly to the operations manager on site. Heading up a crew of roughly 30 trades throughout a variety of divisions. In this hands-on supervisory role, you'll be responsible for:

• Mechanical maintenance on a variety of underground and surface mining machinery.
• Leading by example both on and off the tools, encouraging team work, collaboration, and crew culture whilst providing effective supervision and leadership.
• Supporting with shutdown projects across NSW underground mine sites.

Your skills & experience
You will come from a background working on mobile plant maintenance and rebuilds with at least 2+ years' experience in senior positions running a team of trades. This position is very hands on, and you'll still be required to work on the tools for a large portion of your role.

• Cert III Mobile Plant (desirable)
• Heavy diesel trade qualification (essential)
• Experience working on underground hardrock mining machinery. (maintenance and rebuilds)
• Effective communication with the team and clients on job progression
