Our client is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team on site with an immediate start.
This role is situated on an O&G site in remote SA on a 2:2 roster.
The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the day-to day operations of the workshop.
This role involves supervising staff, coordinating workflow, maintaining mobile plant equipment and invovled with the planning and undertaking of preventative maintenance schedules.
The Role includes but is not limited to:
- Supervising workshop staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance and conducting performance evaluations.
- Coordinating workflow to ensure timely completion of projects, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and resource availability.
- Oversee inventory maintenance of workshop supplies, equipment and tools, coordinating procurement and maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with maintenance staff and external providers as required.
- Prepare reports on workshop performance, including productivity metrics, safety incidents and maintenance activities.
- Experience as a Workshop Supervisor
- Experience working a FIFO/Mining role (desirable)
- Experience working on CAT / Hitachi mobile plant equipment / or equivalent
- Proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Office and inventory management software (e.g. MEX).
- Cert III in Automotive (Diesel Mechanic) or equivalent
- Pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen
- Police clearance from within the last 3 months
- Valid HR/HC license
- White card
