The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee our maintenance facility in Port Hedland. As the Workshop Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficiency of the workshop, and leading a team of skilled technicians.
You will be responsible for achieving optimum fleet availability through team training, efficiencies, and planning. You will perform supervisory responsibilities required for the efficient management of planning and coordination of vehicle service and maintenance within the Toll Group, to ensure high levels of vehicle service compliance is met without compromising on quality and with minimal downtime of assets to ensure effective asset utilisation. This is a full-time, permanent role with the opportunity to be home every night.

You will:
- Work effectively with internal customers and stakeholders to collaboratively achieve high levels of vehicle maintenance service compliance
- Ensure personal and team operational performance meets identified KPIs and balancing of overall capability to meet them
- Provide leadership and development to the team
- Ensure the maintenance team has the required level of skills in the appropriate technical processes including policies, programs, systems, governance, and compliance to ensure a consistent and uniform experience across all business units
- Conduct regular toolbox meetings and facilitate HSE initiatives.
About you:
- 3+ years' experience working in a workshop management/supervision role.
- A safety-first mindset, and a customer focus in leading a team
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop leaders of teams
- Strong understanding of the National Heavy Vehicle Law and Maintenance Management
- Proven track record in driving business performance through strategic competence and effective people leadership
- Computer literacy / strong administration skills
