HOBAN is recruiting a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Advisor for a highly reputable Warehousing & Logistics company based in Eastern Creek . This Temp-Perm position offers an opportunity to provide advice and guidance on current and emerging HSW matters. Role Overview: To deliver Health, Safety and Wellbeing advise and service, supporting application and continuous improvement of the AUS & NZ Management System - driving effectiveness, fostering uplift in cultural maturity, and delivering improved HSW performance across all AUS & NZ business locations and operations. Key Responsibilities:To enable and empower a leader led HSW culture to deliver positive health, safety and wellbeing outcomes and bring to life the strategic HSW pillars: Protect; Care; and Thrive.
To enable AUS & NZ sites to meet all relevant HSW legislative and regulatory requirements.
Proactively coach and guide leaders in best practice health, safety and wellbeing management.
Partnering with the P&C team to develop and deliver on health, safety and wellbeing initiatives aligned to external body, industry and regulator events.
Build relationships and enable HSW maturity to enable leading HSW performance and effective service delivery, as an active and visible coach to leaders and key stakeholders.Selection Criteria:Cert IV in WHS combined with solid working experience of Model WHS Act, Codes of Conduct and Regulations;
Experienced (min. 5 years) in delivery of HSW advice and service, with relevant industry experience;
Effective communication skills, with an ability to import knowledge and coach others.
Demonstrated experience in influencing and driving change across a diverse organisation;
Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence outcomes to win/ win positions;
Sound understanding of AUS & NZ Workcover and related requirements preferred (not essential);
Experience in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio);
Strong attention to detail and well organised; and
