Join us as a Youth & Child Voice Coordinator on a Part Time basis to work 16 hours per week and assist in implementing the Y's Child and Youth Voice Strategy including managing the Youth Voice Network, youth reference groups, working in collaboration with children, young people and families accessing the Y's programs. About your new role The Youth & Child Voice Coordinator will work with young people and children to provide them with empowerment opportunities, support and building community connections to strengthen community capacity.This is a truly rewarding and rare position for someone who is passionate about working with young people and children and making a positive impact in their lives.About the role: Managing stakeholder relationships Facilitating group consultations with young people and children Managing the Youth Voice Network newsletters Event planning and producing, working closely with the Youth & Child Voice Manager Managing youth advisory groups About you: Experience in delivering high quality programs within budget considerations (desirable) Relevant qualification in youth work, community services, social work, childhood education, mental health (essential) Experience working with groups of children and/or young people (essential) Prior experience in compliance and risk management.(desirable) First aid & CPR (desirable) Working with Children Check.
