Your Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, you'll be involved in providing youth support, family contact, court support, and crisis support services. We are dedicated to creating a safe and empowering environment for young people, aligning their needs with care plan objectives.
What We're Looking For:
- Enthusiastic individuals with a passion for helping youth.
- Drive, reliability, and honesty are key qualities we value.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, last-minute call-ins, and sleepovers.
- Experience working with children and young people with complex and challenging behaviours is a plus, but not essential - we provide training!
- Willingness to travel to Ipswich, Brisbane, and Moreton Bay/North Brisbane regions.
- Passion for working with children and young people with challenging behaviours, particularly teens.
- Team players who follow policies and contribute to developing new ideas.
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- First Aid & CPR Certification (Willingness to Obtain)
- QLD Blue Card - Paid (MANDATORY)
- Current Driver's License (MANDATORY)
- Access to a car (MANDATORY)
- Comprehensive Car Insurance (Willingness to Obtain)
- Hopes and Healings Course (Training provided)
- Must have a Smart Phone (MANDATORY)
- Comfortable and Skilled in Using Technology
- Strong report writing skills.
- Meet the Minimal Qualification Standard for Youth Work. Completed or enrolled in a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care) (or willing to enrol before start date)

- 24/7 (preferred)
Salary:
- $38.00 – $59.00 per hour
