Your Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, you'll be involved in providing youth support, family contact, court support, and crisis support services. We are dedicated to creating a safe and empowering environment for young people, aligning their needs with care plan objectives.
 


What We're Looking For:

  • Enthusiastic individuals with a passion for helping youth.
  • Drive, reliability, and honesty are key qualities we value.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, last-minute call-ins, and sleepovers.
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex and challenging behaviours is a plus, but not essential - we provide training!
  • Willingness to travel to Ipswich, Brisbane, and Moreton Bay/North Brisbane regions.
  • Passion for working with children and young people with challenging behaviours, particularly teens.
  • Team players who follow policies and contribute to developing new ideas.


Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • First Aid & CPR Certification (Willingness to Obtain)
  • QLD Blue Card - Paid (MANDATORY)
  • Current Driver's License (MANDATORY)
  • Access to a car (MANDATORY)
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance (Willingness to Obtain)
  • Hopes and Healings Course (Training provided)
  • Must have a Smart Phone (MANDATORY)
  • Comfortable and Skilled in Using Technology
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Meet the Minimal Qualification Standard for Youth Work. Completed or enrolled in a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care) (or willing to enrol before start date)

Shift Availability: 

  • 24/7 (preferred) 

Salary: 

  • $38.00 – $59.00 per hour
