This role will be supporting a young, energetic boy with Autism with ADL’s including personal care, implementing behaviour support Plans, managing challenging behaviours, community access, meal preparation, and domestic assistance.
The participant lives in Thornleigh. This is a casual ongoing role and candidates will need to have availability Monday to Sunday.
About You
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in Youth Work, Disability, and/or Mental Health.
- Experience working with clients who have complex behaviours of concern
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Youth Work related qualification desirable)
- Knowledge of Behaviour support plans and Restrictive Practices
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Driver’s License & own car with comprehensive insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Flexible availability & commitment to an ongoing roster of support
