Job description

In-Home Sales Consultants x 2 - Window Furnishings (blinds, security screens, awnings, drapery, shutters + new products in 2024)

Due to a restructure in our team, strong demand and some HUGE plans for 2024 - Watson Blinds & Awnings are growing our team in the Canberra territory supporting our store based in Fyshwick but out-and-about with customers most of the week.

You will join a Retail Sales Team of 10 sales professionals, in a growing company with 150+ people and room to grow/develop.

About the role

Our in-home Sales Consultants are the face of the business, inspiring trust and confidence in the communities they serve. This is a brand new opportunity to work in a busy territory, following up leads and advising customers on the full range of locally made products.

You'll be expected to not just 'tick and flick', but work with our team once the sale is won to help deliver an exceptional service and product.

You'll be part of a close-knit team.

With a new workroom being launched in 2024 and a new showroom planned soon, it's an exciting time.

  • Hold a full or P driver’s licence

Base salary of $60,000 to $100,000 depending on experience. Fully paid for car, phone, tablet/laptop provided.

Commissions on top - on target earnings for 2024 up to $127k but commissions are uncapped.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Going into the homes of our customers and providing advice for their window furnishing needs and providing quotes in home.
  • Being polite, friendly and representing our core values, quality, integrity, ease and experience
  • Responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner
  • Owning the sale from start to finish
  • Building relationships with customers and converting leads
  • Proactively promote our brand and all products within
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date customer information
  • Developing and maintaining a positive working relationship with all internal staff that will enhance the customer experience
  • Committing to uphold our values of Quality, Integrity, Ease and Experience
  • Maintaining and enhancing a positive work culture
