2Ic/Senior Technical Claims - Commercial Property

What you will enjoy about this role:

• Assisting the Manager with the claims team, and overseeing workflow
• Providing weekly reporting to the Manager
• You will be acting as the client advocate, working with highly prestigious clients, managing the more complex, disputed property/ISR claims
• Supporting the Manager and covering during holiday periods
• Providing an outstanding level of customer service and ensuring that you obtain the best outcome for your client
• Managing declinatures, disputes, IDR matters, and AFCA cases
• Act as the 'go-to' person for the broking team, answering their questions on claims
• Subsequently investigating circumstances and obtaining all information around the claim to satisfy the insurer

 
What you will bring to the role:

• Experience in property/ISR claims, either within an insurer, broker, or underwriting agency
• Ideally some leadership experience, either as a Technical Claims Specialist or 2IC role
• A highly client-centric approach to your work
• Outstanding communication skills
• The ability to provide a highly professional service in a fast-paced environment
