As an AO7 Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial activities for the agency and their government customers. Bring your expertise on Financial Statements, statutory reporting, TRIDATA, and providing financial advice.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience with Queensland Government Financial Statements and Tridata.

This role will see you support the Manager of Financial Management.
- Strong focus on producing the annual financial statement
- Provide financial reporting through Queensland Treasury’s Tridata system
- Deliver high-quality financial accounting services to internal and external clients, including providing financial training and offering your expert advice
- Collaborate with the Financial Management Services Branch for efficient accounting services
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain the effective operation of general ledgers
- Develop and implement improved strategies and processes
- Provide expert advice on best practice
- Provide tax advice and ensure tax compliance (this experience is not required, though beneficial)
