About the role
We have a permanent opportunity for an Aboriginal Heritage and Native TitleSupport Officer.
Based in our Leederville office you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and general support services to the work areas of the Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title section in an efficient and timely manner.
What will the role involve
· Proactively provide a range of administrative and general support across the work area (section) this may include:
o Coordinate of Welcome to Country process
o Coordinate queries and responses communicated through shared inbox.
o Travel arrangements
o Invoicing and credit card reconciliations
o Webpage reviews
· Respond to routine queries within specialised area to internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
· Liaise and coordinate information with external and internal key Business Unit stakeholders as required.
· Support other sections as and when required during peak workload to ensure overall region outcomes are achieved.
Key skills and experience
- Relevant administrative and support experience in a similar role within a large state-wide multifunctional organisation
· Demonstrates good computing skills, is able to use Microsoft suite of systems and can demonstrate the capability to learn and use the Corporation’s suite of computing applications.
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal cultural protocols, Heritage and Native Title
