Our DNA: We believe in the power of inspired young people.
We’re the Y WA.
The Y WA (formally YMCA) are a branch of the global Y not-for-profit organisation, formed in 1844 and have been contributing to our local Australian communities since 1851. The AIEO plays a crucial role in fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our Indigenous students. As a liaison between the school and community, the AIEO works closely with teachers, students, and families to develop culturally responsive educational programs that empower our Indigenous students to reach their full potential. Through mentoring and pastoral care, the AIEO provides support and guidance to Indigenous students to encourage participation and achievement in the classroom and the broader community. With a deep understanding of Indigenous culture and history, the AIEO brings a unique perspective to our school, promoting respect, understanding and harmony.
