Who will be primarily involved with and responsible for the badging and access of Boeing nationally.

The Global Security Activity (GSA) Team is dedicated to delivering the most trustworthy and efficient Protective Security service to Boeing and our customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skillset to include Defence security practices while supporting our Global Security Activity team located in Brisbane. You will be expected to learn, develop and contribute outside of your core duties to align with the collaborative team environment that ensures the Global Security Activity team remains efficient and effective in the operation of our physical workplace as well as the delivery of high-quality services and results to our customers and stakeholders. GSA is dedicated to providing trustworthy and efficient protective security service internally and externally. In this role, you will be a personable achiever who represents the face of BDAs' GSA team. You will require a high level of attention to detail across repetitive datasets, and have familiarity processing and organize large swathes of information. You must be process-driven and work towards recording and understanding the various processes and procedures associated with the role. You must be presentable and enjoy working alongside and handling a variety of different stakeholders from both internal to the business and externally. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is motivated and able to work under tight deadlines while retaining a high level of attention to detail. You will be required to undertake monthly stock take activities and other ad-hoc responsibilities to facilitate continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative tasks and manage project drives, files and calendars
  • Assist with report preparation, team communications and monitoring
  • Assist with facilities management related activities including initiation of purchase requisitions
  • Perform access control and monitoring to company property including development of policies and procedures
  • Verify identification to maintain export control compliance
  • High level of attention to detail when dealing with repetitive datasets to verify correct and true information across a multitude of programs and platforms

Experience/Qualifications

  • Relevant office or project administrator experience
  • Customer service experience or experience in a customer-based position
  • Understanding of a defence or secure environment
  • Competent and familiar with the Word Suite, most notably Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, learn and apply new skills
  • Highly organized, task orientated, self-starter that demonstrates a high degree of initiative and requires minimal supervision and enjoys interacting with various parts of the business
  • Ability to be on-call as required by business needs and to travel periodically as planned or unplanned
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements. This role requires the successful applicant to obtain an Australian Government Negative Vetting level 1 Security Clearance
