- Fixed Term role to 26 July 2024
- Part-time: 29 hours per week
- Based in Mackay
- HEWL 5: $72,059 - $81,732 per annum (pro-rata) plus up to 17% superannuation.
Delivering high-quality administrative services that support accommodation requirements for students whilst providing professional customer service. A key focus of the role is fostering strong relationships within the University and external parties including Tenancy Advice Advocacy Service, the Residential Tenancy Authority, Real Estate Agents, private landlords and local service providers to ensure resources are appropriately allocated and operational maintenance can be undertaken in a timely manner. Providing customer focused advisory services to students and staff in relation to accommodation availability, cost, policies and procedures. Supporting the preparation of funding applications, reports and data entry.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLEWith a relevant degree qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and/or training, you will bring accommodation administration experience, preferably in higher education or a student accommodation facility. Effective problem solving and organisation skills with the ability to exercise judgement to manage workflow and prioritise to ensure deadlines and targets are met. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for delivering customer-centric service. As a valuable team player, you work well both independently and collaboratively in a high-volume environment. Additionally, demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite will be essential for navigating the technological landscape seamlessly.
