Bazaarvoice is looking for an experienced sales professional to manage, partner and grow a portfolio of strategic clients in the APAC, as well as acquire new enterprise level prospects. The Account Director is a hybrid role of delivering strategic, commercially oriented business direction to our clients, as well as managing mixed methodology sales processes to consultatively onboard new logos.

Therefore, we are seeking an individual who is passionate about solving clients' business problems and exceeding retention targets, at the same time as possessing a hunter like sales mentality to find opportunities for growth and new revenue both within those existing relationships, and new ones. Candidates should have a proven track record of target over-achievement and strong experience with building champions within complex organizations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Run a territory franchise, including territory management, account planning and generating pipeline on a continuous basis.
  • Sell high-ROI software solutions to C level stakeholders, navigating complex sales cycles, building consensus across multiple business units and successfully driving sales processes to close
  • Manage all strategic and commercial aspects of the relationship, to make the client successful with all Bazaarvoice products and service and to nurture and grow the Bazaarvoice relationship
  • Identify and build opportunities to grow your business and apply a strategic, detail-oriented approach
  • Define Bazaarvoice's account strategy for success with your assigned portfolio of business
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and client to deliver a joint strategic plan to enable the client to achieve program success
  • Ability to navigate and build champions across complex client organizations, tailoring strategy recommendations based on identified business needs

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience
  • Strong record of achievement in a grow or acquisition sales position within SaaS &/or/other online based technologies.
  • Having a background selling a complex, multi-solution offering into multiple Executive/C-Level stakeholders is a must.
  • Ability to navigate complex and ambiguous circumstances both internally and externally
  • Ruthlessly organized & detail oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines and objectives
  • Proven tenacity and success with prospecting your own accounts and setting your own meetings.
  • Comfort in developing a technical understanding of how our products work, to enable stronger sales cycles.
  • Experience selling $50k+ average deal size.
  • Experience selling a multi-product solution end-to-end (prospecting all the way to close).
  • Experience managing $1M+ USD in annual quota.
  • Comfortable with sales qualification framework such as BANT and MEDDPICCC (MEDDIC)
  • Effectively creates and articulates return on investment in the negotiation process to bring the upmost value to both the consumer and Bazaarvoice.
