Collar has been engaged by a leading NSW Broker in the recruitment of an Account Executive, where you’ll be responsible for a portfolio of clients across the variety of different industries. The Role
In your role as Account Executive, your key focus is going to be on the management of an SME portfolio.
The role of Account Executive is diverse, but here’s a few of the key “day to day” responsibilities below:
- Manage a portfolio of SME Accounts – accountability for servicing, developing, and maintaining the client portfolio
- Responsible for building a close personal relationship with the key ‘day to day’ client contact and provide a high level of customer service and advice to all clients across the portfolio
- Conduct a pre renewal meeting annually and review of clients current and future business plans, and prepare Renewal and New Business reports
- Provide support and mentorship to Assistant Account Broker
- Scheduling and attending meetings and understanding the specific requirements of insurance cover for the clients, arranging specialised types of insurance cover in complex cases
- Ensure awareness of all client claims and their progress
To succeed in this role, you will have 1+ years of experience as an Account Executive as well as:
- Excellent product knowledge of Financial Lines insurance products
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and insistence on quality in everything you do
- Tier 1 qualification
