About The Role:
As the Account Manager you are responsible for retaining and growing existing customer accounts and securing new clients to generate profitable revenue within Queensland. This involves identifying opportunities within current and prospective customers, qualifying these opportunities, and positioning the business as the preferred provider of both existing and new solutions. Key tasks include identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, preparing proposals, assisting with Statements of Work (SOWs) and implementation. The role requires close collaboration with technical teams, particularly during the sales process, and ongoing research into new solutions. Additionally, the Account Manager will contribute to the strategic growth of their account portfolio.
Successful Candidate:
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities, driving them through the sales stages to secure new business
- Collaborate with pre-sales teams to: Assess client requirements, design solution options, prepare proposals and SOWs
- Provide weekly revenue forecast reporting
- Present recommendations to the General Manager Sales and General Manager Marketing & Strategy with respect to the viability of new solutions, services etc
- Work with vendors to schedule and promote product and solution enhancements/changes
- Analytical skills to effectively identify, define, and propose solutions to problems in an efficient manner across hardware and software.
- To build the appropriate ratio of opportunity pipeline to deliver the revenue budget within each financial year
- Experience of selling all or part of the IT services stated.
