Account Manager

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team in Western Australia, based in Perth.

The Ripple Group is a leading on-line provider of accredited Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses in Australia and held in its portfolio are a number of RTO’s, including alffie and Open Colleges. With over 100 accredited courses and skill sets within its portfolio, the Ripple Group’s customers are able to access a highly diverse range of courses through its various RTO’s. It also services the corporate market, where customers have used our innovative and unique learning platform to deliver non-accredited compliance training.

A fantastic opportunity within our Government Services business, alffie, supporting Employment Services Providers across Workforce Australia, Disability Employment Services, Transition to Work and Parents Next. 

Strategic Key Account Role 

National Responsibility 

Location: Perth, Western Australia 

The Role 

You will predominantly undertake strategic account management duties with Employment Services Providers across Western Australia. Developing and nurturing new and existing business within a designated market and region, your strong account management skills combined with your ability to gain new business will be essential for you to succeed in this role. 

Prior experience within Workforce Australia (WFA) or Disability Employment Services (DES) is a MUST. 

The Person 

You will have strong experience partnering strategically with customers in a face to face. You have worked previously in an account management and B2B environment coupled with your proven experience working in the Employment Services Industry. 

You are someone who understands customers’ needs and business drivers. You can adapt your approach to provide a suitable and innovative solution for your clients. You have a sound understanding of executing a structured and purposeful sales management process.  

As someone who enjoys working with people, you have well-developed interpersonal skills, an influencing communication style and the ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Your passion and self-motivation to meet targets and contribute your own ideas to achieve business objectives will see you succeed in this role.

Your duties will include but are not limited to: 

Proactively communicating our range of accredited and non-accredited alffie courses to WFA and DES Employment Services Providers across Western Australia. Providing a solution based approach to helping your providers and their clients meet requirements. 

Building on the customer experience with our market leading products and technological applications with regular site visits, training, relationship development and quarterly reporting. 

Working closely with your national sales team to develop strategies aligning to customer requirements and government contracts. 

Managing customer relationships and objections by clarifying product/technological solutions to achieve a positive outcome. 

Identifying potential customers and appropriate decision makers to increase awareness of alffie’s market leading products and services. 

Business Development through cold call prospective customers to create a pipeline of opportunities. 

Reporting all KPI driven activities via alffie’s CRM to ensure standards and activity levels are met. 

This role is home based and autonomous, with a strong connection to your national sales team via regular team meetings.

The successful person will receive a competitive remuneration package including a base salary, car allowance, laptop and mobile and have the opportunity to be rewarded on results with uncapped OTE.
