About the role
As an Account Manager in Sales, you have the opportunity to make this role your own by managing and growing your portfolio of select Managed Customers while seeking and converting new business prospects across Northern Beaches, Norwest, Western Suburbs and CBD and surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- In this role you will achieve LP Gas sales budget being agreed sales volume, margin and product group objectives
- Furthermore, you will maintain and grow existing customer base volumes whilst developing new business opportunities
- In addition, you create great customer relationships, schedule and maximize customer call value, including developing trade allies and ensuring they are serviced
- Identifying load build opportunities throughout the geographic area and passing leads onto relevant personnel for follow up, is business as usual
- You will complete a minimum of 95% of calls as per monthly call schedule and submit monthly planners and reports by due dates which includes and is not limited to product categories in relevant branch, margins, volumes and competitor activity
- Preparing the Business Approval Model for all re-signs, re-signing customer accounts as they fall due whilst following company Delegation of Authority in all instances
- You will also establish and maintain data on the customer information base, via appropriate Elgas Windows System
You will have skills and experience including:
- You have two to three (2-3) years field sales experience
- Motivation in succeeding in sales with previous sales experience highly regarded
- Clean and valid drivers licence is required for this role
- In addition you have strong customer focus
- You also own negotiation and conflict management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
