Pipemakers Australia Pty Ltd, a leading manufacturer and supplier of PVC and PE pipe to the construction, building and mining industry was established in 1990. The company now has widespread distributing capabilities across Australia. We are seeking a full-time Account Manager in New South Wales reporting to the State Sales and Operations Manager.
Key responsibilities for the successful candidate:
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales outcomes
- Provide dedicated regional sales support
- Conduct regular customer visits on a well-structured call cycle
- Manage customer orders, quotes and enquiries promptly
- Offer product knowledge, advice and accurate delivery lead times
- Collaborate effectively with distribution staff to support depot activities
- Implement strategic brand management initiatives
- Demonstrate strong leadership, negotiation, and team management skills
Previous experience in PVC piping industry or plumbing / electrical merchandising will be highly regarded but not essential. You will be computer literate particularly with Microsoft Office packages. With the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of people, you can build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
