Account Manager – Grocery is a critical role in the business development team to manage positive and productive relationships with key Australian retailers; and in collaboration, influence and deliver insight-led category and shopper initiatives that are aligned with MLA brands for sustained growth for beef and lamb across the fresh meat category.
About the Role
Gaining excellent exposure to the operations of our business and external stakeholders, we have a rewarding role for an experienced Account Manager – Grocery to join our Marketing and Insights team. This position is available as an 18 month fixed term contract, covering parental leave.
Our ideal Account Manager - Grocery has:
- Experience ensuring strong collaboration with Australian retailers, enabling implementation of insight led category and shopper initiatives;
- Ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop customer plans that deliver growth for red meat;
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key influencers across the retail sector;
- Experience identifying relevant insights (including preparation of relevant analysis), leveraging these to shape and influence customer category plans; and
- Fantastic interpersonal skills with strong ability to influence and negotiate.
