Join our Consumer team as a National Account Manager in Grocery. You'll lead strategic initiatives to drive growth and expand market reach. As the bridge between our brands and key accounts, you'll craft and execute winning strategies, ensuring category leadership and maximizing results both on and off the shelf.
Key Responsibilities
Drive annual sales growth and trade promotional spend for assigned customers.
Lead customer forecasting and propose investment levels during annual planning processes.
Negotiate and establish trading terms, ensuring compliance to agreed terms.
Provide regular performance updates and stay abreast of industry developments and market trends.
Analyse trade spend effectiveness and adjust plans as needed.
Prepare and present customer reviews and communicate outcomes to the business.
Monitor inventory levels and address shortfalls proactively.
Collaborate with brand teams to implement national campaigns at the account level.
Represent customer requirements in cross-functional project teams.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Some travel required and may include some weekend work for industry events.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Proficiency in Circana and IQVIA databases.
Minimum 3 years of Key Account Management experience in FMCG or pharmaceuticals. Health & Beauty, pharmacy, and grocery channel experience ideal but not mandatory
Experience managing P&L at the customer level.
Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and business planning skills.
Proficiency in 4P/3D/CARS execution.
Basic understanding of brand and consumer promotion management.
Familiarity with consumer, customer, and healthcare professional shopper insights.
