THE OPPORTUNITY
An Account Management opportunity has arisen in our Sydney,Silverwater office HQ for a technical sales person to focus on business development within an existing account base. This role reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing where you will embrace working within a team of engineering and sales professionals. Initiating a consultative approach, you will be providing solution based sales and solutions that grow and develop the efficiency and effectiveness of your client's building management systems.
Instrumental to your success will be managing regular client visits to consult in person, initiating conversations around industry trends, updates and new innovations. Building owners, architects, facilities management are some of the prospective clientele but there are no limitations here!
When not on the road you will be liaising and building internal working relationships at the office, working as part of a wider team.
CANDIDATE'S QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:
To succeed in this role you will be creative, energetic and enthusiastic with great technical abilities. Your background and knowledge in BMS or HVAC will lay the foundation for successful account management growth.
This position will suit a current sales or business development professional who has a technical background in mechanical/electrical/automation or BMS. Alternatively, this would also suit someone currently working in a technical mechanical role who is looking to transition and up-skill into an account management position.
KEY SKILLS TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- An understanding of mechanical systems and/or automation, an engineering or technical background in BMS, Energy management or HVAC will be favourably considered.
- A passion for success and a strong focus on providing outstanding customer service and building long term trust based relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, outgoing and experience in working at different levels of organisations such as building managers, consultants, real estate agents & facilities management.
