What will you do?As an Account Manager you will join our B2B Commercial sales team to manage and grow a high potential territory of Australian corporate customers. You will also be responsible for acquiring new business opportunities to grow the overall portfolio. Key to this will be the development of a market coverage and penetration strategy to identify high value sales opportunities within your customers and across various sectors in the Victorian market. You will work closely with the sales manager, sales specialists and wider product teams to substantially increase market awareness within your territory and continually drive revenue growth in your portfolio of clients. From this perspective, we are searching for someone to be a product evangelist as well as a business development specialist.What are we looking for?Consistent high performance in account management and business development roles specifically in the B2B space.Ability to demonstrate that you have gained B2B account management/business development experience in a face to face environment.A candidate that can develop a solid sales pipeline by acquiring new business as well developing in-depth Account Management plans across a portfolio of customers.Experience and the ability to handle and prioritise a territory successfully through strategic account reviews and the development of meaningful, trust based relationships at all levels.Ability to provide meaningful, accurate and timely information and critical metric reporting as per agreed deadlines along with weekly forecasting to your line manager.Excellent communication and presentation skills whilst providing a consultative solution sales-based approach.Consistent track record of delivering results to sales targets.Ensuring customers are kept updated of any significant changes in market dynamics and any new solutions that could impact their business to help them increase profitability and mitigate risk.What could set you apart?Consistent performance in selling complex solutions and being able to methodically explain this process.Strategically growing accounts with a tested sales approach and being able to explain this in a succinct, clear manner.Trade credit, legal, accounting, IT, Finance and recruitment knowledge.Sales pipeline management experience using Salesforce.The ability to concisely articulate a solution to a complex problem from the view of a customer.Proven resilience and tenacity in all aspects of life.Primary Location: AUS-MelbourneFunction: Function - Sales and Account ManagementSchedule: Full time
