The role:
As an Operations and Account Manager at CDC NSW, you will play a crucial role in managing the relationships between CDC, Western Sydney University (WSU) and Sydney Trains. These relationships are pivotal for our organisation and requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication, and proactive problem-solving abilities. You will oversee bus operations, ensuring smooth operations, timely reporting, and exceptional service delivery.
What you will do:
- Cultivate and maintain a strong, collaborative relationship with clients
- Act as the primary point of contact for all communication between CDC and clients
- Regularly liaise with key stakeholders at both organisations to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Efficiently roster drivers to ensure adequate coverage for all routes and shifts.
- Collect data from on-board devices to monitor performance metrics and optimise operations.
- Compile comprehensive reports on a monthly and quarterly basis, detailing performance, key metrics, and any operational challenges or successes.
- Proactively manage absenteeism to minimise disruptions to bus services.
- Address and resolve complaints and issues promptly, both on-site and through coordinated efforts with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate additional transport requirements for special events such as open days, ensuring seamless logistics and customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate bus changeovers as necessary due to service requirements or breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to schedules.
About you:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.
