Job description

Ventia provides strategic operations and maintenance, asset management and renewals services to Roads and Transport sector clients including local government councils and authorities in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, and Western Australia, as well as the NZ Transport Agency, Auckland Transport and private road operators.

We're seeking an Account Plan Manager to manage the Account Planning process for the Transport sector, including preparation of Account Plans, development of initiatives, tracking of initiatives and update of Salesforce and related registers.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the development of Account Plans inline with Ventia's processes and procedures.
  • Prepare presentations and manage supporting collateral.
  • Coach and train stakeholders in Account Planning techniques (e.g. Miller Heimann Large Account Management).
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to ascertain account status changes and update Ventia systems and registers to reflect those changes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of each account and communicate changes as they arise.
  • Support Business Development Managers in the engagement with clients and apply established sales techniques (e.g. Miller Heimann Strategic / Conceptual Selling) to identify and develop opportunities.

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing relationships at a senior level with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal and organisational skills to manage relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and developing negotiation, mediation, and other conflict resolution skills to assess a situation and exercise judgement to achieve a positive outcome.
  • Salesforce experience is desirable however not essential.
  • Technologically savvy with an intermediate level of Microsoft Suite.
