Hays Recruitment are delighted to be appointed by a rural business provider. We are seeking a diligent, experienced and efficient Finance Officer/Accountant to work in a sole charge position reporting to the owners of the business.
Your new role
The position will be responsible for the smooth running of Payroll services on a weekly basis coupled with the processing and records management of AP and AR. You will also be responsible for journal entries, reconciliations and banking/cash flow management and business analysis. Overseeing the varied tasks of an administration office will also be part of this varied and important position.
What you'll need to succeed
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional for this role, but also important will be your ability to work across multiple entities with a varied work load which can differ day to day. Using accounting systems - you will have a keen eye for detail and have recently worked in a similar position in a varied role. You must be able to demonstrate significant experience in Payroll services (end to end). Any year-end production and analysis skills will also be very beneficial.
The role is based within a half hour commute from Innisfail and/or Yungaburra.
