As a key member of our Finance team, reporting to the Senior Finance and Operations Manager, make an impact utilising your accounting skills to ensure accuracy and compliance with both US and Australian accounting standards in this fixed term full time 6 month contract role.
- Review and verify financial reports prepared by our Global Services team.
- Review and adjust internal control processes to maintain financial integrity ensuring ongoing compliance with Sabanes Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws, accounting standards, and group accounting policies.
- Conduct detailed reconciliations and monitor financial data.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of cash flow forecasts.
- Prepare local statutory reports.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Experience in the retail industry is essential.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of financial accounting and international accounting standards.
- Proven experience in local tax preparation and statutory reporting.
- Exceptional analytical skills and a detail oriented approach.
- Capability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment.
This role is based in our Head Office on Sydney's Northern Beaches, at times there will be meetings across varying time zones with our global team.
