Robert Half have partnered with a homegrown Western Australian organization in the logistics industry to recruit a Junior Accountant. This role offers constant variety, bringing new challenges and rewards each day as you assist your Finance Manager with completing monthly/quarterly and yearly reporting and analysis processes.
The Role
Join our client as a Junior Accountant, where you'll handle month-end processes, contribute to insightful reporting, support commercial operations, manage Fixed Asset Register, ensure compliance, assist in budgeting, and optimize inventory management. Your role will involve efficient journal processing, accurate trial balance tracking, variance analysis, strategic reporting, process improvements, balance sheet reconciliation, and more. You'll be an integral part of our Client's team, fostering financial excellence and growth.
Your Skills & Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field.
- Completed or currently completing a CPA or CA qualification.
- At least two years of exceptional Accounting experience.
- Brilliant skills in Excel.
- Proficiency in other Microsoft Programs.
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Brilliant organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines.
- Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritise tasks.
