Finance Officer
- Contract: Two Year Contract
- Location: Perth CBD
- Hours: 38 hours per week
About the Role: As the Finance Officer, you will provide specialist administration and investigation into financial transactions while delivering excellent service to stakeholders. This role spans Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement opportunities for performance improvement.
- Maintain and update working procedures.
- Reconcile daily cash flows and control accounts.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
- Manage debt collection processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily, weekly, and monthly accounts functions.
- Apply accounts-specific policies and procedures.
- Support team leader with technical assistance, mentoring, and training.
- Process customer invoices and support revenue collection.
- Investigate system issues and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Perform ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in AP and AR.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Previous experience with electronic accounting systems.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills for debt collections.
- Strong problem-solving ability and accuracy under pressure.
- Available to start immediately.
- Full working rights within Australia for a minimum of 2 years and able to work full-time.
