What we require
We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Finance Officer to play a crucial role in managing our financial health, ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, and maintain financial records.
About You
We would love to hear from you to discuss your skills and experience in:
- Accounts receivable – issues invoices, process receipts and reconcile accounts to ensure timely collection of payments
- Accounts payable – process vendor invoices, verify transactions, prepare payments, maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
- Billing – generate and distribute billing statements
- Payroll – prepare and maintain the organisation payroll using the Xero platform
- Reporting – assist on preparing financial reports and summaries related to the role.
- Support – provide support to the CFO, and the membership team as needed.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Finance Officer, Accounts Receivable / Payable Clerk, or similar role.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with members, stakeholders and colleagues.
About the role
- West Perth location
- Part-time (27hrs/wk) preferably over 4 days /wk.
- Free on-site parking
- 3 x R&R days over Christmas period (in addition to A/leave)
