AddressWe are a small Penrith based Public Accounting Practice looking for a strong
intermediate Accountant. You will work closely with the owners of the business who will provide you with the best opportunity to grow and develop your accounting career.
About the role:
You will directly support the owners of the business in servicing a variety of clients including Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts and Companies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for all entity types
- Preparation of BAS’s, IAS’s and year end reporting
- Tax planning and advice
- ASIC compliance
- Liaise with ATO and other Government bodies
- Ad hoc office and administration duties
About you:
You will have 3 years’ experience in a similar role and have the confidence to
communicate with our clients on the phone and face to face. This role will require the following key requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong software skills with programs such as MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, Office etc.
- Experience with Handisoft will be highly regarded
- Member of a professional accounting body or working towards your qualifications
- High attention to detail
- Be able to learn new skills and take direction
