This established CA organisation in the CBD is seeking a Business Services / Tax Intermediate Accountant for their team. This firm is an emerging powerhouse in the accounting industry and is looking to add to it Business Services team. Clear career paths and structured training sessions have seen this firm boast strong staff retention and consistent growth.
This role will give you the opportunity expand your knowledge across various client industries/SMEs, complex group structures up to $35M turnover, subsidiaries of international companies with Dec year end, HNWIs, investments up to $40M and SMSFs up to $20M in value.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Preparation of income tax returns and financial statements all entities
- Preparation of BAS, IAS and GST returns
- Preparation of other statutory returns including FBT, payroll tax and land tax
- Drafting initial advice and reports and research on various issues
- Financial reporting consolidations
- Exposure to management accounting/outsourced accounting function for clients
- Liaise with regulatory bodies
Ideal candidate:
- 2 years or more local business services experience
- CA/CPA studying ideal
- Australian tertiary qualifications in relevant field
- Excellent business acumen
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated and eager to learn
