About the role
As an Accountant you will be provided with a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure across a broad range of accounting and business functions within our Chartered Accountancy firm. In return you are provided with a competitive salary package with strong career management and support.
Daily tasks and responsibilities will include preparing tax returns and financial statements, monthly reconciliations on a range of online platforms, bookkeeping, maintaining ledgers and assisting the accounting team as required.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will have the following skills and previous experience:
- Minimum 1 years experience working within an Accounting Firm.
- Be reliable, motivated to learn/improve and have a good attention to detail.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with our team and client base.
- Completed a Bachelor's degree (Accounting major).
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Previous experience with utilising Xero, MYOB and/or QuickBooks is essential.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a clear understanding of the importance of professional confidentiality.
