The Role
As the Accountant, you will report to a supportive and down-to-earth Finance Manager. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Journal preparation & accruals
- General Ledger reconciliation
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Assisting with year-end reporting and audit processes
- Prepare annual FBT returns and review monthly BAS returns
- Prepare financial reports for management
As you become more confident in your role, more duties will become available!
Your Background
To be considered for this Accountant role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:
- CA or CPA qualified or part-qualified
- Intermediate excel skills
- Significant accounting experience including month-end process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will interact with multiple stakeholders
- Short notice period will be highly regarded
