Our client is an established company that has steadily grown over the last few years and requires a part-time accountant to join their finance team on a contract basis to help them over the next few months.
They offer a professional working environment, flexible working hours, and onsite parking. You will be supported by an experienced finance manager and work with a friendly, supportive team.
The Role:
Our client is looking for a general all-rounder to step in and help out where needed at various times of the month.
Other duties will include
- Assisting in preparing monthly financial and management reports and variance analysis
- Assisting in preparing weekly cash flow forecasts
- Assist the team with annual budgeting and periodic forecasts
- Assist the team with complex reconciliations
- Assist with statutory reporting and tax compliance requirements
- Manage the fixed asset register and ensure assets are capitalised and disposed of correctly
- Respond to financial queries from within the business
- Work closely with external auditors and tax advisors
- Support business improvement initiatives
- Assist the team with ad-hoc projects/reports
About You
- Financial accounting background and experience is essential
- Ideally, you will be a qualified CA/CPA/CIMA
- The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good business partnering skills
- The ability to engage with non-financial stakeholders
- Commercial awareness coupled with sound reasoning skills
- Available for an Immediate Start
- Positive can-do attitude
