The Financial Services Business Unit is seeking a suitably qualified person to provide high level professional and technical advice on financial and budgeting related matters. The successful candidate will maintain the integrity of the City?s financial records and meet financial reporting obligations in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and applicable legislation.
Full membership of (or current progression towards) a professional accounting body (CPA, ICAA, CIMA) are essential. Use of the Enterprise Budgeting module within Technology One Financials and prior experience in a local government environment are highly desirable.
Applicants will need to provide a resume and a covering letter addressing the following key criteria in no more than half a page each:
Substantial experience in and highly developed professional financial management and technical accounting skills.
