AddressThe accountant will work closely with Group Finance & Reporting Manager (GFM), Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Managing Director (MD) to provide accounting and bookkeeping services to our clients group of companies.

The role
- Processing Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Processing Intercompany billings
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing month end accruals and prepayments
- Preparing General Ledger reconciliations
- Preparing BAS & IAS with including Fuel Credits
- Financial Reporting - Profit/Loss & Balance Sheet for the group
- Maintaining Hire Purchase Schedules & Fixed Assets registers
- Payroll & Compliance – ensuring accurate recording of superannuation, payroll tax, co-invest and child support in the ledger. EOY reconciliation and lodgement of payroll tax.
- ATO – Monthly ICA & SGC statement reconciliations
- Liaison with external accountants and ATO
- Intercompany Loans reconciliation
- Posting/reviewing journals for Group
- Assist with managing groups passive companies when required
- Preparation / lodgement of ITR for Group, including Year-end Adjustments
- Reconciliation/ management of Linked E-tag fines
- Reconciliation of External Loans
- Salary: $90,000 inc super
- 5+ years experience within a similar role is desirable
- CPA / CA qualified desirable
- Property Development, Construction or Infrastructure experience is desirable
