Nationwide Seafoods is dedicated in providing Victoria's Seafood and Hospitality Industry with the Finest Quality Seafood on offer. We are family owned business, based in Preston and have been trading over than 20 years. We are now seeking for a full-time Accountant to join our growing team.

About the role 

Duties/Responsibilities:

Prepare, examine and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.

Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and associated reports.

Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analysing and summarising account information and trends for internal decision-making purposes.

Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns.

Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations.

Maintain accounting controls and provide advice.

Benefits and perks

An attractive remuneration package ($65,000 to $85,000) is offered for the right candidate depends on experiences.

Skills and experience

Ideal Candidate must be:

Previous experience in a similar role.

High level of literacy and numeracy with an ability to meet deadlines. 

High attention to detail and good analytical skills.

Ability to prioritize and work effectively within a team as well as individually.

Skilled in both verbal and written communication.

Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
