Key Responsibilities
Processing accounts payable including entering invoices and preparing payments
Entering client and staff disbursements
Data Entry for new starters into our new system Employment hero
Receipt of daily banking and reconciliation of payments
Assist with the onboarding of new starters.
Preparing monthly bank reconciliations for various accounts
Assisting with end of month billings
Processing credit card reconciliations
Assist with Payroll administration
Alongside the Director of Finance, ensure complete payroll accuracy by reviewing timesheets on a weekly basis and compare them to the employee calendar.
Ad hoc HR administration - letters, system data entry.
Assistance with General Ledger reconciliations
Assisting in formulating budgetary and accounting policies
preparing financial statements for presentation to boards of directors, management, shareholders, and governing and statutory bodies
Conducting financial investigations, preparing reports, assist with Company audits.
Examining operating costs and organisations' income and expenditure
Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements
Preparing taxation returns for individuals and organisations
Liaising with financial institutions
Introducing and maintaining accounting systems, and advising on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems
Maintaining internal control systems
