The Opportunity:
Hooper Accountants currently have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Accountant or Assistant Accountant to join our Warwick Team in either a full-time or part-time capacity, with the opportunity for flexible hours available.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with an experienced, committed team, focused on delivering exceptional service to both established and emerging clients. This role will work across tax, accounting and business advisory services.
Key responsibilities include:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a diverse range of duties including but not limited to the following;
- Apply professional accounting, financial and taxation knowledge in the development and maintenance of client affairs
- Provide exceptional service to clients through relationship management and effective communication;
- Prepare tax returns, financial statements, BAS and IAS for all entity types
- Liaising with the ATO;
Relevant experience/qualifications:
To be successful in your application and this role, you will need;
- High degree of professionalism, including confidentiality and discretion;
- Bachelor of Business / Commerce Degree with Accounting Major (preferred but not essential);
- Experience in a similar role;
- Willingness to develop and learn new skills;
- Comprehensive computer skills including knowledge of various accounting software;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
