ALG Talent has a great opportunity for an Accounting Administrative Assistant on a Part Time basis to join a well-established organisation based at Mascot Airport. This is a causal ongoing contract offering 2-3 days per week with the potential for more hours in the future and the potential for permanency should you excel in the role. You'll enjoy a day roster spread out between Monday to Friday, allowing for a great work-life balance.
As an Accounting Administrative Assistant you will bring previous administration/accounts experience in an aviation, engineering or construction environment. Additionally, you will be comfortable with completing duties relating to accounting (payable/receivable) activities (some training provided). This role is perfect for someone who is looking to re-enter the workforce or chasing Part Time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Raising and closing off scheduled and unscheduled jobs.
Assisting in coordinating spare parts.
Assisting in maintaining stock control of tools and equipment.
General administrative duties.
Process invoices and payments in accordance with company policies.
Key Requirements:
Experience with Oracle (Mandatory).
Previous experience working in a similar role.
Previous experience in aviation and or logistics environment.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
Strong computer skills.
