About the role:
We are searching for a detailed and driven Accounts Administrator who will autonomously manage our accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Enter all invoices into cost centres and check for budgetary compliance.
• Liaise with vendors on accounts payable issues.
• File all invoices and coordinate refiling of invoices through approvals workflow.
• Provide payrun tallies after invoice processing.
• Enter all invoices into financial accounting software (Xero) and process for payment, pending authorisation.
• Manage accounts receivable; follow up on overdue payments.
• Organise credit/trading accounts as requested.
• Prepare and issue remittances as required.
• Primary administrator of financial (Xero) & managerial accounting software packages.
• Coordinate payroll weekly.
• Prepare BAS statements and all other statutory financial accounting practices as required.
• Liaise with external accounts as required.
Requirements for the role:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role managing accounts payable/receivables, or in a Business/Finance Manager role
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, & Xero
• High attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and assist others in the team
