Our client is seeking a part time payroll professional to join the Finance and HR team based in Renmark, South Australia.
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for:
- Accurate maintenance and timely preparation of two fortnightly payrolls, including uploading, data entry and checking of time keeping records, processing leave records, wage rate changes, maintaining updated employee records in both the payroll system and employee files.
- Statutory reporting including superannuation, payroll tax, workers compensation etc.
- Reporting payroll information to managers, and responding to enquiries from employee and manager enquiries.
Knowledge of payroll processing functions, the ability to interpret Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
A high level of attention to detail, analytical ability, strong mathematical and problem-solving ability,
The ability to work to deadlines and strong communication skills.
