Roadworx is a leading company engaged in the maintenance of Roads in the Illawarra, Sydney & Southern Highlands and is seeking to employ an experienced Accounts /Debtors Officer to join a dynamic team based at Ingleburn.
Your new role
This position will involve data entry and processing of invoices into accounting software, AR and purchase orders as well as other administration duties as directed.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience with Accounts within a medium sized company. You'll be the type of person who can hit the ground running, join a high functioning team and add value. You will have attention to detail, an in-depth ability to self-manage and use your initiative, whilst also being a strong team player.
Your Duties:
Processing of invoices.
Investigate & resolve invoice issues and queries.
Supplier statement reconciliations.
Liaising with Suppliers.
EFT payment runs.
Processing bank statement transactions.
Assist with accounts receivable when required.
Assist with processing fortnightly time sheets.
General administration duties as required.
Accommodation Reservations
To be successful you will possess:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Accounts experience is essential.
Intermediate excel skills.
Desirable:
Experience using Cheops.
Proficient use of Excel.
Hours of work are 8:30am to 5:00pm.
