What’s on offer?

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join our dynamic Infrastructure Services Team, based in Ormeau. This role will work closely with the Finance Team and the Site Administrators to provide support to the operational business units across Queensland. In this role, you will play a key part in the Accounts Payable function, as well as perform Accounts Receivable duties, general administrative support and office duties, including:

  • Accounts payable processing, including raising purchase orders and goods receipting
  • Processing supplier payments
  • Vendor and customer accounts set up and maintenance
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Weekly cashflow forecasting
  • Processing recipient created tax invoices and expense reimbursements
  • Processing customers invoices, credit notes and refunds
  • Responding to and resolving customer and supplier queries
  • Assisting with the mentoring and development of other Site Administrators
  • Cover of other administrative roles as required
  • Reception / general office duties
  • Uniform / office supply orders

You will have previous experience in an administrative capacity, in a construction or maintenance site-based environment, with a good working knowledge of forms and contracts.

In addition:

  • A proven ability to provide leadership and guidance to the team, develop and contribute to an atmosphere of cooperation and teamwork.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team whilst also having an ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills, with an ability to liaise professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention-to-detail and a focus on quality outcomes.
  • Excellent IT skills with JDE experience preferred.
