About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a permanent Accounts and Administration Assistant to join a reputable consultancy based in Broadmeadow. This role offers the flexibility of full-time hours or part-time options, including four days per week or five school hour days. Reporting directly to the Director and Senior Team, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support in both Accounts and Administration functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
- Processing invoices, bills, and payments accurately and efficiently
- Handling payroll processing, including employee entitlements and superannuation
- Reconciling bank transactions and maintaining financial records
- Monitoring and tracking monthly expenditure
- Providing general administrative support to senior management
- Coordinating office operations and ensuring smooth workflows
- Assisting with project scheduling and ad hoc tasks as required
- HR administration tasks including preparing contracts and procedures as needed
- Support with project reporting
- Monitoring timesheets using the WFM syste
- Demonstrated track record in Accounts and Administration roles, with preference given to those with experience in a similar capacity.
- Proficient in using Xero with strong proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at fostering positive relationships.
- Proactive and self-motivated individual with a strong initiative to take ownership of tasks.
- Meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy in all responsibilities.

- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Previous experience in a consultancy firm or project environment is highly desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with collating and reporting on timesheets and timekeeping practices is advantageous, although not essential.
- Experience with BAS statement preparation and lodgment and a BAS agent certification or working towards it is desirable but not essential
